ya’ll are bitches
&then my favorite mfrp closes.
i’m not mad at anyone, just slightly annoyed i guess. not necessarily at the mods either because even though it was their decision to pull the plug, they wouldn’t have had to if they didn’t feel it was right.
~i wonder who was making them feel that way~
anyways if you wanted to get in touch, my personal’s probably posted somewhere here already but you can find me here. i won’t be deleting this or anything but since this blog exists without purpose now i won’t be on here all that much. duh winning.
Initially, it wasn’t enough to get him out of bed. He was hungry, sure, but he was tired too and he couldn’t be bothered to make something. Morning would come soon enough and he’d deal with it then.
Except, it kept happening. After the third or fourth time his stomach decided to butt in and disturb his sleep, he forfeited with a whiny ‘alright, alriiiiigghht!’ and begrudgingly moved toward the kitchen.
But wait, what was that thing glinting at him?
Tired eyes couldn’t make heads or tails of what it was, even with the moonlight’s help. The nightstand, where it was situated, was approached (why did he even get up?) and the mysterious object was picked right up. A light would have helped, but it didn’t dawn on him to turn one on. Grogginess was a big issue here. He turned the thing over and over in his palm, ‘examining’ it best his conditions would allow. After a few sniffs he simply…
..bit into it. It was edible, and quite frankly he was starving. It wasn’t long before the fruit was completely gone and he didn’t think much of it. Besides that it was good.
“Goodnight, Kaede!” Was she even still there? Doing anything that wasn’t flopping over in an unconscious heap in his usual spot was too much effort at this point.
There was a tingling in your stomach tonight. Enough to jerk you from your sleep. A soft rumble that meant only one thing: hunger. The urge had called you even from your dreamland, so it couldn’t be ignore, right? After pushing yourself away from your bed, your form was ready to leave the room in search of food. But… something caught your eye. A glistening shine from the moon on something shiny. As your eyes adjusted to the darkness, you’d note it was a fruit. It varied in size from person to person, but yours fit your perfect visually appearing desire. Big, small, juicy, dull — it didn’t matter. It was perfect for you. You didn’t question it. You were too tired and lazy at this point. So, with little desire to leave, your midnight snack became this fruit. Maybe you shouldn’t eat when you’re half asleep… It was satisfying, enough to cause you to go right back to bed. It was filling, but you felt a bit of something else begin to rumble inside of you… What could it be?
So, after eating a mysterious fruit, everyone in Arcadios will be effected by some kind of “spell”. Instead of falling asleep forever like Snow White, you’ll be effected by ONE OF THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS. You can choose which sin you’d like to effect you, but you will be the embodiment of it. The sins are as follows:
Your character will be absolutely ‘taken over’ in a sense, acting in accordance to the one sin you chose. If you’re taken over by Envy, you’ll be jealous of everyone to the point you may attack them. If you’re Pride, you may show off and annoy others and so on.
The event starts on Friday morning and will last until Sunday at Midnight.
[[WHICH ONE TO PICK~~~]]
COME SPEND TIME WITH PAPA INSTEAD….
H-Hey, you’re way too young to be looking at this!
COME SPEND TIME WITH PAPA INSTEAD….
That stupid grin.. That grin that she couldn’t help but love. She tried to smush it away while she played with his face, trying not to smile. As hard as she tried.. She just couldn’t stay mad at him right now. For one thing, she knew she was safe again, no matter where she happened to be… And it was much easier to be mad at him over the phone of when there was at least a door between them.
In the end she couldn’t help but smile after a moment.. Just a small smile. She was still a little hesitant when it came to actually believing Kotetsu.. What if he didn’t keep his promise? What if he ran away..? But she nodded anyway. “You better..” Even if she would get sick of him. At the moment she just preferred him to actually keep one of these promises to her.
The girl gave in, hugging her father once more. Eyes closed and she snuggled him a little. “I’m sorry, papa…” She murmured, tugging at his hair a little. “I said I hated you.. I didn’t mean it..” Kaede huffed, placing a little kiss on Kotetsu’s cheek before just resting her head on his shoulder again.
“There. Now you can’t be mad at me.” Another huff and she hid her face in his shoulder. “If you want.. I’ll stay in your room tonight..” Cue getting defensive. “N-not because I’d be scared or anything..!” Wrong. New place… What child wouldn’t be nervous all alone? There was no way she was staying in some unfamiliar room.
“But I won’t take a bath with you! Weirdo.” That followed by Kaede grumbling softly.. At one point you could probably hear ‘stupid, papa’ yet again.. More then once actually..~
That little smile accompanying her words - he’d have to really crack down this time. Even without his powers, and even as danger seemed to be scarce, he might have to flip into hero ‘mode’ occasionally but he really didn’t think such distractions would create a gap between himself and his daughter here. That little kiss caused him to lift his head so it wasn’t so angled against hers, and the affection was countered with a little peck to the side of her forehead.
“Hey, it’s alright! I was never at you, Kaede…” He was quick to assure her as she express remorse for herself. It was nice to hear for sure, and it wasn’t as if Kaede was a people-pleaser..so she really /didn’t/ hate him. Maybe in a few months she would start calling him cool. A hand shifted to cup the back of her head, lightly toying with her hair. “We both made mistakes, so—”
“Really?!” She was willing to share a room with him?! So she wasn’t too old for these things after all. “There’s always room for you in papa’s bed~ of course I want you to sleep over!” He was really gonna have to work on wording things. Without a moment to spare, he shifted his hold to her midsection and lifted her to be properly whisked to his quarters. “I can make us some fried rice for dinner too, you must be hungry…” Between their terrible morning, school and suddenly being brought here, some rice would top off a decidedly better evening.
…She really didn’t have a choice about where she wanted to sleep. Really. Even if she’d been given her own room, she was way too young to be on her own/in a building full of strangers. If she ever decided to leave his wing — and she probably would more sooner than later, he was going to casually move in with her. Mentally planning ahead, yep.
“…I didn’t say anything about that-!” The stupid papa comments were overlooked, since there was a bigger thing to fuss over on their short journey over to The House of Valor. “What’s wrong with taking a bath together? We used to do it all the time!”
Silly, Kotetsu. It was thinking that she was too young for anything that upset her most of the time. She needed room to grow.. Then again she could probably try to understand where he was coming from as well. Being a dad who couldn’t be there for his daughter.. He barely got to watch her grow up while ‘working’.
But would she understand that? Nope. Not willingly anyway.
“Hmph..” The pouty girl didn’t bother shrugging her father off, instead she just kept her gaze from him. Such a rebel..~ She whined in annoyance as he touched her face, though she didn’t stop him. As he apologized, Kaede fell quiet. Maybe because she couldn’t figure out just what he was apologizing for. He’d done a lot in the past few days.. And she still hadn’t accepted his other apology.
He was happy?…
Kaede finally looked back at Kotetsu, trying to keep a straight face. She brought up her hands to reach for her father’s face. It seemed innocent enough.. Until she just smacked him with both hands, squishing his cheeks only moments after.
“W-well.. Fine! I’m a little happy to see you! Just a little bit!” She continued playing with his face for another minute or so before she stopped, hands just resting on either side of his face. She huffed, frowning as she stared back at the man.
“But you better not leave me alone again! Or I’ll really hate you…”
Was his apology not good enough? His eyebrows arched in anticipation. He didn’t want to go into specifics — listing off all of his past blunders might re-annoy her and then it’d be even harder to get through.
Regaining eye contact, he gave a cheesy grin, unflinching as she slapped his cheeks and purged his grin, forcing him to purse his lips. Like a fish. He didn’t complain, but it was difficult to not struggle against her hands; he was happy and smiling about it was..well… this is probably what Botox was like.
As she continued toying with his face, he closed his eyes and chuckled. She could have been doing a lot worse (this only hurt a little), and it was…nice. He was being able to touch/hug her and experience those such things in return was nothing short of a miracle.
His hand rose from her shoulder to idle cup at either side of her face, smiling, naturally, in the face of her frown.
“You don’t have to say that.” That’s right; here, he wasn’t required to do anything hero-related. It seemed peaceful (that collar thing went over his head, yep) and more importantly, his NEXT powers had been stunted, but he wasn’t a unique case. Being ordinary was a forced trend, here. He wasn’t saying he liked being rendered useless, but right now it was a good thing.
Kaede was going to get sick of him. “Papa’s going to stay by your side now, so don’t worry.” Sure, he might have promised this a couple dozen times in the past, but this was different! He was doing it in person without any followups, like ‘if I can get the day off’ or ‘just let me talk to my partner’.
After flexing a thumb over her cheek a few times, he drew her in for another little hug since he felt their last had been cut short. His arms wound about her neck, head tilting against hers.
